TAF shows on Facebook
TAF has found its way to the social media. On Facebook you can find both the TAF group and TAF event sites. TAF team is updating these sites and at the same time taking steps closer to the festival opening night. In the Facebook community you can share your opinions, thoughts and questions with the TAF team and with other people attending the great festival weekend. There’s already close up to 200 members in the group. Come and find your friend among all the TAF members!

TAF Looks is all about street fashion
TAF Looks is a campaign partly inspired by the website Hel Looks. The people behind the festival scene wanted to bring the event to the streets where everybody can see it and become a part of it. TAF Looks album on our website was created by an enthusiastic TAF group who walked in the streets of Tampere and took photos of people with a TAF look. The group found some amazing TAF Looks which can be admired on our website under the link TAF Looks. Do you look TAF?
TAF is good music
Festival people can come and enjoy good music on Saturday 10th May at Väinö Linnan aukio. The big names of the festival are The Valkyrians and Morley.
The Valkyrians are bringing ska music back! Their groovy tunes are a mix of early reggae, traditional 60's Jamaican ska and British two tone, spiced up with a fresh touch. When it comes to playing live, The Valkyrians have become a stamp of quality and intensity. Rumours of their ass-kicking live shows started spreading among the wider audience in the early 2006, and already by summer, The Valkyrians' gigs were among the most anticipated performances at the Finnish rock festivals.
After the release of their debut album High and Mighty in September 2006, the group has been playing at sold-out venues all over Finland. The album debuted at no. 24 in the official Charts and the first single Rankin' Fullstop spent over a month in Top 20, climbing at its best to no. 6.
The Valkyrians were also awarded as the Most Danceable Act of 2006 by the prestigious Finnish rock magazine Rumba, and their single Do You Really Wanna Know won the Best Song of 2006 Award at the Finnish Funk Awards.
Morley was established in the year 2003 in Oulu. The members of Morley are Pentti Amore, Lebu Tsernobyl, Dimitr Polaroid, Dr. Bathole, and When evil spirits attack. Their second album We Slept Through the Storm got a great review in the Finnish media. The album was mixed in Svenska Grammofon Studion, Gothenburg by Hans Olsson and it was mastered at Dicentia, Gothenburg during January 2007.
